The Gulf Is NOT Safe! It Is Dying! People Are DYING! How Many More Will Die? Please spread this throughout the World. The President is NOT doing his job of protecting Americans when he tells people to swim in the Gulf of Mexico or eat the Gulf seafood.
Florida's AWAKE THE STATE is a series of local rallies opposing budget cuts Florida can't afford. There were many all over the state yesterday and they all had a great turn out; early estimate is 10,000 People. Florida's new Governor turned down federal money for the high-speed rail... and about 24,000 Jobs. Scott's new budget cuts $1.75 Billion for education but it doesn't help the budget because Scott gives $1.6 Billion in corporate and property tax-cuts. Scott wants to eliminate Florida’s corporate income tax (only 5.5% now) and make Florida "corporate friendly". He wants to scale back state pensions for state workers (cops and firemen included). Recall Rick Scott! He has more in common with Scott Walker than a name. Idaho House just passed a bill that will phase out tenure for new teachers and restrict collective bargaining. Idaho Teacher's Union plans to protest today. Detroit schools are cut by half making 60 kids in a classroom... TPTB are doing all they can for [I hate the term] dumbing down Americans.
These Governors are doing exactly what the federal government is doing... Austerity in America! A government can not balance a budget off the back of the workers, and they know it. TAX THE RICH! We've had enough! It is the Global Capitalist Agenda... Austerity for People, Power for the Kleptocrats... And looking at some of the other posts here, things are not getting better. Obama signed an Executive Order for Indefinite Detention... the Air Force gave a Special Award for spraying Corexit... Corexit is poison... genocide... dumbing down and depopulation... ummm, not a theory anymore. Is it any wonder why we can’t get single-payer health coverage?
BP... AARRRGH! Bob Dudley says, he is sorry about the oil spill. BP and Dudley are sorry, as in NO GOOD! People are sick and dying, and he is sorry. Tell Lisa Nelson how sorry you are, Bob... oh no, you can't because she is dead. Stillborn baby dolphins, thousands of fish wash ashore, along the oil that still comes ashore. I have lived along the beach for most of my life and I have never seen so many dead animals... or such a wide variety. The oil in the video is not weathered tar balls. Dudley should fire Feinberg and pay up fairly if he wanted to show he was sorry. Words from BP are meaningless! Most people are getting the shaft on claims and there are no health considerations, and they sure do need it. BP pays Feinberg $850,000.00 every month and Feinberg pays $10 million to ONE claimant... life-long fishermen have not seen a check in 10 months. Starve them so they'll sign anything tactic... Sorry… more like Fraud! Obama hasn't declared the Gulf a disaster although it is the worst environmental disaster in US history and it is a disaster. That is more than a word; it means claimants that do get claim checks could pay as much as 35% in taxes... Sorry. Obama has lied about the safety of the Gulf of Mexico and now Spring Break is coming... children of parents that mistakenly trust Obama will be splashing in the poisoned water and digging in the toxic sand then eating Gulf seafood. These Kleptocrats have no conscience to know what 'sorry' means. They are sorry, good-for-nothing but bad news.
