What We Have, and Should Not Be
TPTB want this freedom robbing pack of laws Patriot Act for FOUR more years! It was an temporary emergency act and unconstitutional to begin with, but they keep extending it. Obama was pushing for three more years last time around, so don’t expect he’ll do any god for us now. I have written and called my representatives to let them know I don’t want another extension on this Un-Patriotic Act. I doubt they care what I think as they didn’t listen when we pled for them to stop spraying poison on us and the Gulf of Mexico last year…they called that a “trade off”. The Patriot Act is not patriotic; it is a trade off of freedom for a false sense of security. There is no reason why they can’t have a judge approve wire-taps etc., it just means violations will continue. A report showed the FBI has 40,000 “possible violations” in the first nine years of this pack of laws. That comes to one ‘possible violation’ every 2 hours, around the clock. I have one Dem and one GOP for my US Senators and they both support this unconstitutional law. Oh, how they love making sneaky moves when it comes to this pack of laws, almost as much as they hate to debate it, so I have to give a little shout out to Rand Paul for his efforts today. Senator Paul, Thanks for standing up for the Constitution.
